Why do I say so?
As per the stats we can see from the early 90’s i.e. in 1988-1989 the survey showed that there was 153000 women entrepreneurship which was 9% of a total of 1.7 million in India. Then in 1980 onwards India has shown positive growth among women entrepreneurship during 95-96 there were 300000 women entrepreneurs in India.
And now according to Sixth Economic Census released by the ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, women constitute around 14% of the total entrepreneurship i.e. 8.05 million out of the total 58.5 million entrepreneurs. Out of this, 2.76 million women constituting 13.3% of women entrepreneurs work in agriculture sector whereas 5.29 million women constituting more than 65% work in non-agriculture sector. The average employment in women-owned enterprises is meager 1.67.

Women has always been a multitasker. From the ancient time to this 21st century women have been proving their management skill either in household work or in corporate world. Liskewise, there are many foundations and organization in national level that are working for encouragement of women entrepreneurship. They provide funds to the new startups as a angel investors.
Conclusion
Due to Male Dominated Society and some social taboo women are still facing some problems while strating business on their own. there is less encouragement in the society and also they have to face financial problem. A 2015 study Mckinsey Global Institute shows India's GDP could rise by between 16-60% by 2025 if women participated equally with men in the economy. Projections show that this could mean a whopping $2.9 trillion added to the economy. So it is the time that only unity in men and women can make the economy and nation Grow.
