Explore The Little Chief Inside You
Best Cookbooks for Chefs can be tricky to find in today's day and age.
If you are searching for the best cookbooks a chef should have the answer to it is, ”NONE”. My reason for this statement is simple and it is, Making food is an Art it gets refined with the experience when you battle against your cookware. Every single time you cook is every time you learn. And that’s very parallel to how Indian cuisine was developed. For Instance, our beloved Samosa can be traced back to seven hundred years ago but the fun fact is the Potato that is the key ingredient was introduced to the Indian peninsula only 350 years ago by the Portuguese. Now the question is how is all this relevant to the title of this article, the answer is quite simple we can observe and figure out our food and cuisine developed with few things such as experimentation, adaptation and experience.
Now reverting back to, which are the Best Cookbooks for chefs? In my opinion the one that can be awarded such title is the one that shares Experiences, the one that explains its Origins, the one that provokes Adaptation, the one that motivates Experimentation and most importantly the one tells a Story.
And the books that in my experience does the job of all I stated before are:
1. "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child
3. “Tasting India” by Christine Manfield
4. “50 Great Curries of India” by Camellia Panjabi
5. “Made in India: Cooked in Britain: Recipes From an Indian Family Kitchen” by Meera Sodh
Conclusion
As good food can make our day the full credit always goes to the chief .So, these books can help you to explore a little chief inside you.
